Bones, Body Parts, and Beyond

A high school boy finds a skeleton in an alleyway who turns out to be alive, and asks the teen to help him find his body parts across the Milky Way Galaxy

Jayson sought a life that wasn’t a cycle of waking up, going to school, and ending the day chopping it up at Chow Town, his family’s restaurant. One day, he was running errands for the restaurant while skateboarding downtown. He decided to cut through the alleyway that had a back door to the restaurant's kitchen . He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw a skeleton mixed in some trash bags. He was a bit freaked out, initially thinking it was a real-life skeleton, but he brushed it off, convincing himself it was some prop since Halloween just passed. He walked past it while the skeleton head was facing down. He turned to look back at the skeleton and saw its head facing him. A chill rolled down his spine, and he forced himself to brush it off again, thinking it was the wind. He decided to hold his skateboard the rest of the way down the alleyway and walk, but the faint rustling behind him compelled him to look back. The skeleton that was once by the trash stood behind him, towering over him in a full-body cloak.

The boy tried to scream but the skeleton covered his mouth and shushed him. He pleaded with the boy to stay quiet and listen to him. After a moment of freaking out and briefly hitting the skeleton with his skateboard, Jayson calmed down. The skeleton insisted that the boy was meant “to cross paths with him.” The skeleton explained that his body was stripped from his bones and was distributed among 6 different powerhouses across the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. The skeleton insisted Jayson travel with him across the different planets to help him. Jayson’s confusion and silence meant to the skeleton that he agreed. The skeleton opened a portal in the alleyway, and they started their journey.
